Information You Provide Directly
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
When you submit our home warranty quote form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, street address, city, state, and agreement to share that request. We also record the request time, referral and campaign information, click identifier, form completion measurements, and the page version you saw.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our site, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, version, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs
- Device type and screen resolution
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4)
Information from Third Parties
Our analytics and advertising partners may provide us with aggregated demographic and interest data associated with site visitors. For a home warranty quote request, the selected provider also returns a delivery result and, when accepted, a provider lead identifier and quote continuation link. We associate that result with your request.

- Deliver your requested home warranty quote to one selected provider, retain a record of your consent and delivery result, prevent duplicate submissions, and measure and improve the quote form

- Track affiliate conversions for our advertising partners
We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If you contact us, we may follow up in connection with your inquiry. If you request a home warranty quote, the compensated provider-sharing process described below applies to that request.
3. Information Sharing
We share information in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We work with third-party services (analytics, hosting, email) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Affiliate networks: When you click an affiliate link, our advertising partners may set cookies to track conversions. These partners have their own privacy policies.
- Home warranty quote requests: With your affirmative agreement on the form, we send your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and referral identifiers to one of two providers: Choice Home Warranty or Home Warranty of America. If Home Warranty of America is selected, we also send your street address, city, and state. Only the selected provider receives that request through this form. We receive compensation for accepted referrals. The provider uses the information to respond to your quote request; its own privacy policy applies to its handling of that information and to its website. After acceptance, we direct your browser to the quote link that provider returns.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfers: If the site is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
The home warranty quote form sends information only after you submit the form and agree to the named provider sharing. Browsing that form does not itself send your contact details to either warranty provider.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use several types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the site to function correctly. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: We use Google Analytics to understand traffic and content performance. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
- Affiliate tracking cookies: Set by our affiliate partners to track referrals. These typically persist for 30–90 days.
- Advertising cookies: Set by advertising networks to serve relevant ads. You can manage preferences via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.

We retain contact form submissions for up to 2 years. Analytics data is retained for 26 months per our Google Analytics configuration. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
Home warranty quote records are retained to process and document your request, consent, delivery outcome, and referral compensation, and to prevent duplicate delivery. Use our contact page for questions or access, correction, and deletion requests concerning these records.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption and implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to our site.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
- Delete personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where applicable
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

9. EU/UK Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights including the right to access, correct, erase, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Use our contact page to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days.

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
